Pastoral care is provided to those walking through challenging situations in their lives. Whether one is walking through loss and grief, challenges with relationships in their marriage, family, friends, workplace, or struggling while raising children. The goal is to identify the areas of struggle and to begin to address these challenges through prayer and scripture with the client’s permission and in helping the client to discover how God is leading you to address these challenges. Often, Biblical Peacemaking may be used in conjunction with pastoral care to provide the coaching needed for the client to begin resolving their own conflicts and challenges.
At times issues may arise in sessions that will need to be addressed by a licensed Christian Counselor to work through mental health challenges and diagnosis, including those who are suicidal. When these issues are identified a referral to the right network will be given.
